Jennifer Lind (she/her) is a curator, writer and metalsmith residing and working in Magandjin.
After completing a Bachelors in Fine Art in 2025, she turned to curation, specifically interested in presenting exhibitions that explore materiality in new and unusual lights. She invites audiences to peer, investigate and treasure both the large and small gallery object while re-contextualising what the gallery space does to artistic intent.
After co-curating Attachments and Fasteners 2025 and Consume 2026, she had the opportunity to guest curate and write for the It*s Material jewellery collective for WorldSkin 2026. Upcoming curatorial projects include SkinThesis 2027 which will be held at the Ipswich Community Gallery and an unnamed project set to open in mid 2027.
As a writer, she has authored exhibition texts, booklets and essays, but has also recently announced the arrival of the Magandjin Contemporary Wearables Zine in May of 2026 which will spotlight wearable and small object makers working in Magandjin. More details to come…
