'Hooked' 2025

   Drawing on themes of queer love, kink and evocations of the uncomfortable and erotic in parallel, Hooked works as a series to bring about a level of closeness and attachment. In order to adorn these pieces, participants must willingly come together into their own private space, close, touching, fastened together. Cuffed and Collared are matched pairs, linked, permanently residing against each other; whether that link is embraced or fought against are down to those who have entered into that bond. Hook and Eye are distinct figures, they can choose attachment or separation, eroticism or aversion. They are a fated pair but choose to enter into that closeness as they see fit, they hold a choice and an invitation but are free to choose.
